Athletes of the Month

Stayton High School Athletes of the Month for April

We have two amazing athletes to recognize for April.

Hope Bridge, one of our senior Athletes of the Month, is headed to George Fox in the fall to run both Cross Country and Track. She recently broke the 5 minute mark at the Regis Twilight Meet in the 1500 meter race with a time of 4:56.62. We are excited and cheering for her as she wraps up her senior year here at SHS!

Jessica Rule is our other senior Athlete of the Month. She is one of the captains of the softball team and has played a crucial role in taking the girls varsity team to an amazing record of 12-0 in league play. She has yet to commit to a college, but wherever she lands she is sure to make a positive impact on the team.

Other fantastic student athletes nominees include:

Mason Silbernagel, a freshman, who came in this year as an asset to the baseball team. He is crushing it on the field and in the classroom.

Senior Cody Leming, a three-sport athlete. He pitches and plays shortstop for the #5 ranked Eagles baseball team.

Another senior Avery Mannix, is a tremendous leader in our school; she helped sweep Estacada in girls' tennis by winning her doubles match.

Senior Rori Bentz, is the ASB president. She happens to be Avery's doubles partner in tennis; together they make a dynamic duo.

Go Eagles!
