Spring Sports Update

Lots of great things are happening in Eagle Athletics this spring. Here is an update as we head down the home stretch!

Garrett Callsen was named All-State honorable mention in boys' basketball!

A number of OHSET (Equestrian) Eagles qualified for the state competition: Amelya Cronin, Gwen Cronin, Naomi Gomoll, Lauren Nagle (gold in jumping!)

Tennis and golf both have districts starting next week (May 8,9). Some individuals have great opportunities to make it to state!

Track just hosted their big invitational this past Saturday with 15 teams participating. Travis King (100 meters) and Hope Bridge (1500 meters) both finished first! Districts are May 19th and 20th in Sweet Home hosted by Cascade.

Baseball plays North Marion this week with first place on the line. They are undefeated in league play right now and ranked #4 in the OSAA rankings.

Softball has a solid grip on 1st place in the league. They have a three game lead with six games to play. They are undefeated in league and ranked #1 in the OSAA rankings and the coaches poll. Here is a tremendous article on senior Jessica Rule.
