Stayton High School is pleased to announce that Tal Wold has been hired as head coach for their girls' basketball program! Coach Wold has 20 years experience as a head coach including an incredible nine year run as the girls' head coach at Silverton High School. While at Silverton, he led his team to eight consecutive on site state tournament berths including the state championship in 2016. Tal has been named the state coach of the year three times, and is regarded as one of the best girls' coaches in the state. Tal's wife Taryn is an administrator in the Silver Falls School District and they have two beautiful daughters, Harper, age ten and Henley, age six.
