    Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

The past six months have been extremely trying for everyone. Additionally, these past weeks have been one of the most emotional times in my thirty years in education. I want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. As a school, we will be here for our community to serve.

As a staff, we are doing everything we can to make sure as soon as we get the go ahead for school to start, that we will be ready to meet your families needs. Everyone within our SIS/SMS school community has been either directly or indirectly impacted by the wildfires throughout Oregon. If your family needs any assistance, please feel free to contact us and we will do whatever it takes to help.

We will work to update you daily on the changes to our current status. Please click on this link for our latest bulletin which contains the most current information. Check our website often to get updates.

    Take care and stay safe,

    Mr. Proctor

    SES Families,

The past few weeks have been so difficult for so many of you.  Our hearts are broken for our community.  Our staff is here ready to serve in any way we can.  If there is anything we can do to help, please reach out and let us know.  We are currently waiting for the air quality to improve before we can get teachers back into our building.  We know for many of you getting ready to start school isn't something you can even think about.  We want to be sensitive to this so please reach out to us if you will need more time.

For those families that are ready, our current plan is to begin school on September 28th.  We will distribute Chromebooks on Monday the 21st from 3:00-6:00 and Tuesday the 22nd from 12:00-4:00.  Please follow this link for the most current information about important upcoming dates:  https://www.smore.com/hjf3e
