Applied Arts Department Chairperson: Kelly FieldsApplied Arts classes are primarily project based and include a variety of subjects. Students can earn credit for Applied Arts by enrolling in Art, Band, Business, Choir, Manufacturing, or Woods classes. Career Pathways are available in Business and Manufacturing and Construction. Opportunities to compete on a state and national level are available through Band, Choir, Business with the Future Business Leaders of America, and through Manufacturing with Skills USA. The Woods program has recently started a project where students will be working with community members to build a house and the Art give you the opportunity to express yourself through a variety of mediums such as ink, acrylic painting, colored pencils and graphite, watercolor, ceramics, and graphic design.
