Welcome!  We encourage and support the placement of teachers in training within our school system.

The process of placing Student Teachers is coordinated through University Teaching Programs and requires the pre-approval of the building Principal and the Human Resources director.

Currently, the vaccine requirement is still in effect for school staff and volunteers as per OAR 333-019-1030. Student teachers must either show proof of vaccination or receive a MEDICAL or RELIGIOUS exemption (forms available at the applicable links). 

Please complete the following and contact Courtney Mathenia at the District Office to set up an appointment to return your completed forms:

1. Student Teaching Application
2. Electronic Communication form
3. Background Information form
4. COVID - either vaccine documentation or one of the above exemption forms
5. Conditions of Work form
6. Employee Responsibilities (on-the-job Injuries)

Student teachers (not observation only) receive an ID Badge - 

Contact Sharon Goodman, to set an appointment to have your picture taken for your ID badge.  This is for you to wear while on school grounds.
